This class goes beyond assembly! Actually you will…

  • Learn how to create your own flavorful Ramen broth (dashi) base using common, high-impact ingredients.
  • Master the art of the tare (flavoring concentrate) and choose your preferred style:
    • Soy Sauce (Shoyu) Base: For a clear, savory, classic Japanese taste.
    • Salt (Shio) Base: For a light, clean, and elegant finish that highlights the toppings.

🍜 Noodles and Toppings

You’ll practice the essential technique of preparing fresh, springy noodles to perfect tenderness. Then, you’ll customize your creation by choosing from a generous, rotating selection of seasonal toppings.

Favorites often include:

  • Chashu (Braised Pork Slices)
  • Ajitama (Seasoned Soft-Boiled Egg)
  • Kujo Negi (Kyoto’s local green onions)
  • Menma (Fermented Bamboo Shoots)
  • Nori (Dried Seaweed)
  • ……

This class is more than just cooking—it’s an authentic cultural experience where you’ll discover how to transform simple ingredients into a complex and deeply satisfying meal.

The final 30-45 minutes are dedicated to enjoying the piping-hot, custom bowl of Ramen you crafted from scratch!
